6.JUSTIFICATION OF THE PROJECT:
the distribution of petroleum products by tanker truck and car results in losses, risks related to traffic accidents and high operating costs;
The construction of a pipeline will ensure better distribution of petroleum products at a lower cost nationally and have a powerful tool for the export of hydrocarbons to the countries of the Hinterland.

8. STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS
General Objective (Goal): Contribute to securing the supply of Petroleum Products in Côte dIvoire and in the hinterland countries and at a lower cost
Specific objectives: 1. Completion of the second phase of the Abidjan Ferké pipeline
2. Reduce the cost of transporting petroleum products
3. Reduce the risks associated with land transportation of petroleum products
