SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Overall goal
With the cooperation project of the ARGE web platform four / seven, a comprehensive digital platform for Global Learning / Global Citizenship Education / Education for Sustainable Development (SDG 4.7) is to be created. Educators / multipliers from the school and extracurricular areas will thus be provided with an integrated information and education platform on Global Learning. The project aims to raise awareness of the concepts and methods of Global Learning / Education for Sustainable Development (SDG 4.7) in Austria and to contribute to better networking between schools and extracurricular education actors. The quality and accessibility to educational offers are strengthened.
Expected results
(1) Visualization: The web platform (including databases) draws attention to the many offers / activities in global learning in Austria. Educators will be able to access educational materials, media / films, educational offers for schools / youth groups and continuing education courses (including e-learning / blended learning courses) at a glance, make the basic education concepts and research findings more tangible and provide information on the SDGs (4.7), the national ones Strategy and event notes provided.
(2) Networking: The web platform strengthens networking and cooperation between educational and non-school education players in global learning in Austria and aims to disseminate qualified offers in the field of topics.
(3) Target group orientation: The focus on the needs of users (teachers and multipliers) is in focus.
Target group / Beneficiaries
Target group: The web platform is aimed primarily at teachers of all grades, youth work professionals, elementary teachers and multipliers of extracurricular youth and adult education and NGOs.
In total, approx. 40,000 teachers and 5,000 other multipliers from extracurricular education achieved. Indirectly, a range of approx. Reaches 650,000 people (children, adolescents, pupils, students and adults).
The consortium partners of the project act as initiators / coordinators of the project, other actors are involved.

Activities
The project measures include the content, graphic and technical development and implementation of the digital platform with embedded databases. Launch and first application of the web platform will take place at the end of 2019.
