Project Detail |
Known to be one of the main emigration countries in the world, Morocco has also become, over the years, a land of transit and even host to migrants. To respond to this new situation, a National Immigration and Asylum Strategy (SNIA) aimed at "ensuring a better integration of immigrants and a better management of migratory flows within the framework of a coherent, global, humanistic and responsible policy. Was adopted in 2013.
In order to support the implementation of this strategy, the Amuddu project is based on the assumption that the economic integration of migrants serves as a gateway and catalyst for their development. general integration. It has therefore chosen to target the employability of migrants through the following three specific results:
Outcome 1: Migrants access to existing guidance and vocational training schemes is better ensured
Result 2: Migrants access to support schemes for (self) employment and the labor market is improved
Outcome 3: The joint action of structures working in the field of economic integration of migrants is energized and better coordinated
Improving the employability of migrants, on the one hand, requires an adaptation of their professional profile in order to better meet the needs of the labor market and, on the other hand, by better access to existing measures to support economic integration. Without reinforcing partners and without coordinating the actions of operators and stakeholders, this employability remains however often hypothetical. That is why this intervention aims to adopt a holistic, targeted and integrated approach, a "mainstreaming" approach to migration.
