Project Detail |
The project will build fiber plants on the Bjursås ¿Björsberg (F16) and Bjursås (east) ¿Rog (F24) routes, which will allow 85 workstations to join and get broadband via fiber connection. The Government has decided on overall targets for broadband in Sweden where 90% of the population should have access to at least 100 Mbit / s in 2020. The EU has a goal that everyone should have access to at least 30 Mbit / s in 2020. Furthermore, the EU has decided to increase access to information and communication technologies. The focus is on expanding broadband in areas where it is not commercially motivated for network operators to invest. With new media habits where streamed video replaces traditional TV and demands for ever higher technical quality to cope with ultraHDTV, increasingly higher demands are placed on bandwidth. What is not so much talked about is data sets and the limitations of a number of GByte that 4G and other mobile subscriptions are affected. These monthly monthly subscriptions run out of hours of ultra HDTV viewing. In order to benefit from high speed on the broadband, it must be an unlimited amount of data traffic, which in practice means fiber regardless of whether the speed is 100 or 30 Mbit / s or for that part 10 Mbit / s. 4G is a complement and should not be regarded as an adequate alternative for a companys or a households broadband connection. Gender equality: In rural and rural areas such as Dalarna, there are strong links between functioning broadband connection and an equal development. A weak broadband network is a structural obstacle to the development towards a global and more equitable business sector. An important and growing industry in Dalarna is the visitor industry, which is strongly international with high broadband dependence for contact with its customers. The proportion of female entrepreneurs and employees is high. Nowadays, almost half of the new companies in Dalarna are started by women, mainly in commerce, local food production, service and services. Industries with a particularly pronounced dependence on well-functioning broadband in sparsely populated areas. It is employment in the countryside that forms the basis for maintaining the community service in the area and enterprise should therefore be given priority. With access to world-class broadband, opportunities are created to compete in an increasingly global market. local food production, service and services.
