Project Detail |
The hotel sector is the fifth largest contributor to GDP in Jordan, and is expected to grow by 5% between 2018-2025. This can not be achieved without an increase in qualified manpower on the different business related to customer-contact and services. The medical sector is one of the potential employers due to needs in terms of catering and maintenance services, and is considered a promising sector.
The main objective of this project is to provide better access to employment for 1200 young Syrians and Jordanians (50% of whom are women) who are out of school and unemployed. The fundamental principles include:
Involvement of the private sector and establishment of partnerships.
Enhanced orientation services with the training of 50 employment counselors and 10 trainers.
