Project Detail |
DESCRIPTIVE The Saint-Joseph School of Mana, emblematic of the town, was built in the 1920s. In 2009, the degradation of buildings gave rise to a peril of danger. The school was relocated to prefabs. Thanks to the financial support of AFD, the premises, abandoned for 10 years, will be rehabilitated. The school will thus find optimal reception conditions in the heart of the town of Mana. The works will last one and a half years, following 4 phases: demolition of a fence and an extension; rehabilitation of existing buildings, including masonry, carpentry, roofing, electricity, asbestos removal and carpentry; construction of nine sanitary blocks and courtyards; landscaping. Eventually, the school will have a surface of 1094 m 2 and will be able to accommodate 360 ??students in the heart of the village.
