The aim of the project is to contribute to the emergence of a market for services to increase energy efficiency in Iran. expected results With its financial support, ADA enables the development of local partners into energy efficiency consultants according to international standards. RCE will be able to - in industries such as steel, oil, cement and brick - independently carry out energy audits or CO2 and H2O footprint assessments and thus contribute to: Reduce energy and water consumption as well as CO2 emissions and increase energy efficiency and employee capacity to implement energy efficiency measures. target group Over the next three years, the initiative will benefit more than 60 Iranian companies and institutions, as well as over 1,000 people. After completing the assessments / audits, 2 to 3 new energy efficiency jobs will be created per industrial site. activities Specifically, it is about - the building of knowledge with the help of on-the-job training programs for the employees of the local partners RCE and ISGM, - Information / lectures for universities, industry representatives and banks and - Assessments / Audits to prepare ISO 50001 certifications. |
