The core tasks of the scientific library include a qualified set-up and development of the library, library and user care, consulting, training / guided tours, research support. Special emphases 2018-19 are on the further development of the offer of electronic media (further development of the new search engine C3Search +, remote access) as well as on the development of the contents (collection of physical magazine inventories in the search engine, expansion of electronic content such as e-books, e-journals, databases , Open Access publications). In the sense of a Living Library, the library actively participates in the event program in the C3. In cooperation with the C3 partners, ÖFSE is continuing the C3 Award project for the target group pupils and teachers. As part of the Matura New and the pre-scientific work on AHS and diploma theses at BHS, pupils gain their first scientific experience. The project supports students and supervising teachers in finding a topic and researching. The focal points in the area of ??information and documentation work are the continuation of the project and institution database, country information on priority countries of ADC, the further development of the website (centrum3.at, oefse.at), newsletters, event documentation, online video and audio services. In the area of ??public relations, the C3 as a development policy event and meeting center is particularly important. Measures are being taken to increase the quality of event services and to open up new cooperation partners. The series of events on education at the C3ntrum uses interactive formats to stimulate discussion on various topics of international development and promotes interest in development policy and commitment among different target groups. The ADA funding priority Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Migration / Flight and Development is reflected in the librarys portfolio, in the literature recommendation Thema im Blick, the VWA project and in the program of events. |
