DESCRIPTION On December 1, 2018 there was a change of government at the federal level in Mexico, therefore all those projects that are in the preinvestment stage are subject to confirmation by the new authorities. The project consists of a new second level hospital in replacement of the General Hospital Dr. Francisco Galindo Chávez. An infrastructure is foreseen that will attend the four basic specialties: internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics and gynecology-obstetrics through the provision of 120 beds, 24 clinics (which will have 28 specialties), emergency service with 3 offices and 23 beds observation, as well as adult intensive care unit (9 beds) and neonatal (5 beds). It is considered to offer the following specialties and services: a) Diagnostic auxiliary services: imaging, clinical laboratory, pathological anatomy, blood bank, endoscopy and allergy and dermatology cabinets, cardiology, obstetrics-gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, neurology, neurosurgery and ophthalmology. b) Auxiliary treatment services: in the emergency room, there will be a surgical unit formed by 4 operating rooms for general surgery, one for ambulatory surgery and one for tochosurgery, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, chemotherapy and urology, pneumology and pain clinics. The provision of medical services will be provided by ISSSTE staff. |
