DESCRIPTION On December 1, 2018 there was a change of government at the federal level in Mexico, therefore all those projects that are in the preinvestment stage are subject to confirmation by the new authorities. The project consists of a new second level hospital in the eastern area of ??Mexico City and the State of Mexico (Texcoco). An infrastructure is foreseen that will attend the four basic specialties: internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics and gynecology-obstetrics; through the provision of 250 beds, 29 clinics (which will have 34 specialties), emergency service with 5 offices and 34 observation beds, as well as intensive care unit for adults (14 beds) and neonatal beds (8 beds). It is considered to offer the following specialties and services: a) Diagnostic auxiliary services: imaging, clinical laboratory, pathological anatomy, blood bank, endoscopy and cardiology cabinets, obstetrics-gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, neurology and neurosurgery. b) Auxiliary treatment services: in addition to emergencies, there will be a surgical unit consisting of 7 operating rooms for general surgery and one for tochosurgery, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, chemotherapy and urology, pneumology and physical medicine and rehabilitation cabinets. The provision of medical services will be provided by ISSSTE staff. |
