| Project Detail | Dovrebanen Double tracks are planned from Oslo to Lillehammer with completion in 2034. Development on the Dovre Line is part of the InterCity initiative in Eastern Norway. The finished plant will double the capacity of the stretch and shorten the travel time between the capital and Gudbrandsdalen. According to the National Transport Plan for the period 2018–2029, it must be built: • Continuous double track to Åkersvika (south of Hamar) by 2026. • Step by step double track to Lillehammer by 2034. • Six new stations. The illustration shows a new railway bridge over Minnesund as planned north of Eidsvoll. |
