The project will add an additional lane to Interstate 95 southbound and northbound, across the Fuller Warren Bridge and includes adding a Shared Use Path (SUP) along Interstate 95 southbound for pedestrians and bicyclists that will be parallel to the southbound lanes, separated by a 10-foot shoulder, a standard barrier wall and tall fence. ??
There are no lane closures scheduled at this time. However, construction on Interstate 95 southbound along the Fuller Warren Bridge may impact motorists after August 2017, when bridge construction for the new additional lanes and SUP begins. Only nighttime lane closures will be permitted on Interstate 95 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and will only affect southbound lanes. Should there be dual lane closures on either side of the interstate across the bridge, they will begin only after 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. |
