Dominion Energy is relocating/replacing a section of its Feeder Line 47 natural gas pipeline in Clearfield, Utah. (Feeder lines are larger, steel pipelines that supply smaller main and individual service lines that connect to meters at homes and businesses.) This webpage provides general information about the project as well as current information on construction activity and related impacts on local traffic.

Overview and Schedule
NEED for the project: We are committed to providing safe, reliable natural gas transportation service at the lowest possible cost. In recent years, as part of our continuing efforts to maintain and enhance overall system integrity, we have begun replacing sections of our underground pipeline system. We will be replacing older pipe with modern, newer, and stronger pipe.
LOCATION: The section of FL47 slated for replacement is located in Davis County. It runs from Main Street east along Hwy 193 over to around 700 East. (See the map on the other side of this page.) To expedite construction, multiple crews will be working simultaneously at various locations during the project. Crews may also work on weekends.
CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE: Allowing for weather and other demands, construction is scheduled to begin January 2019, and is expected to be completed by mid 2019.
