| Project Detail | Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is upgrading the power grid in Elkhart County in northeastern Indiana. The Elkhart Network Improvements Project upgrades the transmission infrastructure to support the electric distribution network and provide a reliable flow of electricity to area customers. Improvements to the area substations and rebuilding two 2-mile transmission lines decrease the potential for outages and speed recovery of service when outages occur. |
