Project objective: To ensure the reliability of the western energy system, to provide domestic energy, to reduce energy imports from Russia to the system. Social and economic benefits of the project: The hydroelectric power station built in Erdeneburen soum of Khovd aimag is being implemented by the public-private partnership in 2015-2020. The Government of Mongolia resolved to implement the Erdeneburen hydroelectric power plant project by concession order according to the 113th resolution of 113th day of April 2015. Therefore, the working group to organize concession bidding was appointed by the Government Implementing Agency of the Investment Department (former name) and organized the bidding but it was invalid because it was not a participant. Currently, the Project Implementation Unit has completed the TOR for the hydroelectric power plant and hydrogeological and other related studies related to the hydroelectric site. |
