Project objective:
In order to improve power generation and regional electricity supply, reducing energy losses by distribution companies, improving economic capacity and ensuring safe and reliable operation of the World Bank in the framework of the Renewable Energy Program for the West, Altai-Uliastai and Eastern regions. Construction of a 10 MW solar power station
Social and economic benefits of the project:
The draft financing agreement and project implementation agreements for the World Bank loan and grant aid were prepared by the relevant Standing Committees and the preparation of the draft agreement was made in May 2017 by the Parliament Standing Committee on Budget, Economic Standing Committee, Security and Foreign Policy The Standing Committee meeting was supported and was ratified by the United Nations General Assemblys session of 2017-05-27.
The project will be implemented from 2017 to 2022, and the Financing Agreement will be concluded with the World Bank on July 5, 2017. Currently, the projects technical requirements are being developed and the procurement plan is being developed.
Activities to be undertaken within the project:
The following projects will be undertaken by the World Banks $ 42 million loan and $ 12.4 million grant. These include:
· Baganuur-South-East Electricity Distribution Networks distribution and distribution network of distribution centers in aimag centers (Baganuur district, Khentii, Dundgovi, Dornogobi and Govisumber aimag centers).
· Distributing and distributing distribution centers of aimag centers in Erdenet-Bulgan Electricity Distribution Company (Orkhon, Arkhangai, Uvurkhangai and Bulgan Aimag centers).
· Extension and upgrading of 35kV substations of "Erdenet-Bulgan Power Distribution Network" State Owned Joint Stock Company.
· Installation and installation of vacuum circuit breaker and gas cutters of 35 kV substation owned by "National Electronic Network National State Owned Enterprises".
· Improve energy planning software of "Boldsheet" State Owned Enterprise and "State Owned Company".
Build a solar power plant with capacity of 10 MW in the western region. |
