Realization of a third track (extension BIN 300), located next to the BIN 200. The works of civil engineering, including the interventions concerning the railway platform, are limited between km 152.400 and km 154.015. Between km 153.187 and km 154.015, along the Via delle Rongie in the Municipality of Giubiasco, the railway line is located at the level of the natural terrain. The project includes an extension of the railway station and the relative remaking of the municipal road; the sound protection will be protected by the construction of a reinforced concrete wall. Between km 152.400 and km 153.187 the railway line is located on a raised ground. The extension of the embankment is made by a reinforced concrete retaining wall. The realization of a shelf, on which the sound barriers will be placed, allows to move the wall back and reduce its height above ground level to approx. 3.5 m In the transition zones between the marked track and the natural ground level, the retaining wall will be built without a shelf.
