Name of Project: Renovation of the Matotoka-Sefadu road, Matotoka-Yiye section Country: Sierra Leone Client: Sierra Leone Roads Authority Total value: € 24,88 million The project, located approximately 220 Km north of the capital Freetown, involves the renovation of the road which joins the town of Matotoka to the Yiye River. The road, which runs for 70 Km, will promote mobility and travel to the hinterland aiding national and regional integration between Sierra Leone and neighbouring countries. The main features of the project are the road widening works, resurfacing, renovation of 16 bridges and 20 Km of access roads, as well as the restoration of the horizontal and vertical signage and 30 Km of guardrails.
