1-construction of Alsalam syphone under Suais canal with a total length of 770m. 2-provosion of 14 pumps west of Suais canal. 3-construction of Sheikh Jaber Alsabah canal (175 km) 4- construction of irrigation and drainage networks for 400,000 feddans. 5-construction of 7 main and 8 secondary irrigation pumping stations, and 4 main drainage pumping stations. 6- development of 400,000 feddans. 7-construction of 27 villages including the social services. 8- construction of main and secondary distribution electrical networks and the required electrical stations. 9- construction of main and secondary road networks. 10-construction of water supply and distribution networks for domestic and industrial use. 11- Required agricultural and veterinary services. 12-provision of equipment and site vehicles for supervision. 13-engineering services for designs and supervision. 14-training. 15-Technical studies The project started in 1990 and expected to finish by the end of 2017. |
