3-6 The project consists of the modernization of the control and signaling system from the current mechanical system to an advanced electronic system to regulate and control the train traffic on the Banha-Zagazig-Ismailia-Port Said railway line with a length of about 192 km, in addition to the Zagazig- Km. The project includes the central control system at Zagazig station and the local operation towers in 21 stations on the line. The system includes an electronic link system. The equipment includes the replacement of mechanical signals with electrical signals, renewal of railway conversion equipment, the development of about 100 intersections on one level with roads to operate automatically, Digital communication between the central station, operation towers, signals and intersections, as well as electrical work, civil and mechanical work, and consultancy services to oversee project implementation. |
