| Project Detail | The Parbati Hydroelectric Project (Stage-II) is Greenfield Hydro Power Project located at village Suind in Sainj valley, Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh state of India. is a run-of-the-river scheme proposed to harness hydro potential of the lower reaches of the river Parbati, The proposed scheme is inter basin transfer type. It will have an installed capacity of 800 MW. The dam is a concrete gravity structure approx. 86 m high from deepest foundation level. The surface powerhouse is to be equipped with four number Pelton Turbine each having a capacity of 200 MW and is proposed to be utilised to generate 3108.66 MU of electricity every year. |
