The proposed CDM project activity is the installation of 7 WTGs having total installed capacity of 14.7 MW. The project will generate energy through renewable source i.e. wind which is a clean energy generating technology, replaces anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG’s), which is estimated to be approximately 24,923 tCO2e per year, thereon displaces 26,008 MWh amount of electricity from the generation-mix of power plants connected to the NEWNE regional grid, which is mainly dominated by thermal/fossil fuel based power plant.
The technology/ machines have been supplied by Suzlon Energy Limited, India.
