The development phase of the 12th South Pars gas field was assigned to Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) in July 2005 and was transferred to Petropars under a mutually agreed contract. The Phase 12 project is one of the South Pars gas field phases located in the southeastern region of the reservoir. The offshore facility of this project is located about 145 km from the coastal strip and the landfill site of this phase is located in the area of ??Tambak (Pars 2) with an area of ??220 hectares. The project involves drilling 45 wells on four wellhead platforms. The gas and condensate extracted from these wells are extracted through three submarine gas transmission lines of approximately 145 km long to the landfills in the Tombak area. Sour gas is injected into the pipelines after sweetening in 6 rows of gas processing for internal use. The condensate discharged at the refinery is also exported by the submarine pipeline and the SPM. Last year, with the launch and operation of this refinery, an important step was taken to produce and supply the countrys sweet gas. These national achievements have attracted the acclaim and appreciation of the countrys oil and gas community.
