Project Description
The project is the drilling of a surface well with a depth of 12 m. Components 1. Drill a 12 meter deep well with the well cover. 2. Install the roller with the rope to pull the water 3-hand pump. The project will be handed over to the local authority and the head of the region with a contract requiring maintenance and attention to the well. 2. Visit the project several times to ensure its maintenance and attention, and to see its impact on society. 3. Evaluate the project after one year to know its feasibility and impact, and to avoid the negatives that occurred during implementation. Project Impact: 1. The health status of people is improved. 2. Project goals

The project justification
1. The Republic of Djibouti has faced a continuous drought for more than seven years, leading to the lack of pasture, water and livestock, and the displacement of most of the population of the towns to cities, exacerbating poverty and unemployment. 2 - dependence of urban populations on groundwater by drilling artesian wells, and in the countryside on the surface ponds and wells due to scarcity of rain and water from other sources. 3. Many people in rural and desert areas have been displaced by drought and the loss of most of their livestock. 4 - high mortality due to thirst and diseases associated with water pollution
