About the project
The wastewater treatment plant in the ammunition will be completed when it is completed, with a population of 203,500 with a capacity of 1,386 liters per second.
Benefits of the project
The project consists of sewage infrastructure works at a flow rate of 56,000 cubic meters per day. It will include 21-kilometer and 800-mm water-pipe, and twin rising mains, about 10 km long and 500 mm in diameter. Advanced treatments such as ultraviolet (UV) treatment and chlorination are used for water purification. The project also includes the construction of a new pumping station for the transfer of wastewater flows in the Ammunition area, as well as the modernization of the pumping station in Al Khor.
