Overall Goals The planning and implementation capacities of the ministries related to infrastructure development and agriculture /rural development are strengthened. Project Purpose The capacity of the participants is strengthened through a series of academic and practical training events (mainly through the masters degree courses) for the enhancement of the infrastructure development and agriculture /rural development. Activities 1 Selection of participants 1-1 Based on the human resource development needs identified by relevant ministries, JICA announces recruitment of applicants. 1-2 The Operating Committee prepares the selection criteria, based on which the participants are selected. 1-3 JICA supports the selected participants in preparing their applications for academic training. 1-4 Participants, guarantors, government offices to which participants belong, and JICA sign an agreement on participants reinstatement. 2 Training of participants 2-1 Participants take part in bridge education programs for English, science, and mathematics in Afghanistan if necessary. 2-2 Hold a pre-departure orientation 2-3 Participants enter masters courses of graduate schools. 2-4 Conduct regular surveys of how the results of training are utilized after participants have returned to work, and learn lessons from the surveys. 2-5 Improve the program in accordance with lessons learned 3 Alumni network 3-1 Help create alumni networks and occasionally hold alumni reunions. 3-2 Use alumni networks for a pre-departure orientation for participants PAGE TOP Technical Cooperation Projects Index of Countries Asia Oceania Latin America Africa Middle East Europe Index of Subjects |
