Overall objective Target: Universalize the clinical training system for new graduates nationwide and improve the quality of health care services in Vietnam. Targets: 80% of nurses graduated from graduates nationwide completed the clinical training program and were granted nursing practice certificates. 80% of clinics throughout Vietnam have implemented clinical training under the standard curriculum. Project objectives Target: The clinical training system for nursing new graduates has been strengthened in the pilot provinces, creating the premise of replication across the country. Targets: 80% of nurses graduated from clinical training in pilot provinces. 80% of nurses graduated from graduated clinical nursing program for newly graduated nursing and certificate of practicing in pilot provinces. 80% of health establishments implement the standard program of the clinical training system for nursing graduates in the pilot provinces. Output: Output 1: The standard curriculum (including syllabus and modules) based on the capacity for nursing graduates was developed and piloted. Output 2: Trainer training system based on capacity building for new graduates based on capacity built and piloted Output 3: Monitoring, monitoring and evaluation system based on capacity for nursing graduates from health facilities developed and piloted. Outcome 4: National-scale replication schedule of the clinical training system based on the capacity for new graduate nurses is implemented on a baseline (Results of this project, survey early termination survey). Work 1. The standard curriculum (including syllabus and modules) for clinical training based on the capacity for newly graduated nurses is developed and tested. 1.1. Training depends on the appropriate training facilities and the number of participants. 1.2. Based on the results of the survey at the beginning of the period, redefining the minimum requirements of nursing graduates in Vietnam. 1.3. Develop a consensus on a competency-based clinical training system among stakeholders at all levels through workshops. 1.4. Develop and modify the standard curriculum (including syllabus and modules) for clinical training based on competence for graduate nursing. 1.5. Develop a standardized technical assessment tool to measure the clinical skills, knowledge and competencies of new graduates. 1.6. Prepare the necessary environment (eg, supply of equipment and supplies) for the implementation of a clinical skills training program for new graduates. 1.7. Pilot program and technical assessment tool for capacity building for new graduates in pilot provinces. 2. Training system for trainers on capacity building for nursing graduates is developed and tested. 2.1. Develop a training system for trainer training on clinical practice based on capacity for new graduates. 2.2. Pilot training system for facilitating clinical practice training for new graduates. 3. A system for supervising, monitoring and evaluating clinical training based on the capacity for nursing graduates at health facilities to be developed and tested. 3.1. Develop a system for supervising, monitoring and testing clinical practice based on the capacity of new graduates at the health facility. 3.2. Pilot system for monitoring, monitoring and testing of clinical practice training system based on the capacity for new graduates at medical facilities. 4. A national-scale rollout of the clinical practice training system based on the capacity for graduate nursing is built on the basis. 4.1. Conducting the survey at the beginning of the period 4.2. Carry out the survey at the end of the period. 4.3. Evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of a clinical training system based on the capacity of newly graduated nurses in both technical and financial terms. 4.4. Prepare, explain and submit a nationwide replication of clinical training system based on the capacity for nursing graduates to the Ministry of Health.
