KIEN GIANG POWER CENTER – Name of project : Kien Giang I, II power plants – Location : Xeo Ro industrial zone , Hung Yen commune, An Bien district, Kien Giang province . – Technology and capacity: + Technology: Gas combined cycle power plant + Capacity of each plant : Approx. 750MW – Fuel for each plant: + Natural gas from Block B via Block B-O Mon gas pipeline and imported LNG. + Fuel consumption: About 1 billion m3 /year . – Project schedule : + Commercial operation of Kien Giang I : Year 2021. + Commercial operation of Kien Giang II: Year 2022 * PVN is considering reporting the Government authority to assign PV Power as the project owner of the gas power plant projects. |
