| Project Name | FIGHT AGAINST FLOODS IN THE IRREGULAR PIKINE SOUTH ZONE IN THE SUBURBS OF DAKAR |
| Project Detail | The project aims to reduce the vulnerability of Pikine Irrégulier Sud to flood and stagnant unhygienic water, through the implementation of the following four components: drainage of rainwater: construction of a retention pond system (10 basins) and 15-kilometer gravity collectors to evacuate rainwater; sewage treatment: construction of sewage collection networks; Resettlement Action Plan; capacity building and Information - Education - Communication component; An additional € 15 million to support Senegal in implementing an integrated flood management policy will be funded by the Green Climate Fund. |
