The Rural Mobility Improvement Project II (RAMP II) aims to open up rural areas and improve the long - term circulation of populations in four states (Adamawa, Enugu, Niger and Osun). This new project (named RAMP Imo) is an extension to the state of Imo.
The goal is threefold:
develop rural transport infrastructure: this component includes the rehabilitation of roads, the construction of bridges and other river crossing structures
ensure the maintenance of rehabilitated roads and assist the States in the implementation of pilot maintenance projects
Strengthen the project management capacity of the federal administrations.
