A new, multipurpose Stadium with a capacity of 60,000 seats, located in a parkland setting at the Burswood Peninsula.
The Stadium is designed primarily to host Australian Football League (AFL) matches, but will be capable of accommodating all forms of cricket, and have the ability to be configured for rugby and football (soccer) matches, as well as concerts.
It will be surrounded by a broader Sports Precinct which is designed to accommodate a range of active and passive recreational spaces, and entertainment uses.
Transport and access will be supported by new transport infrastructure, including a new Stadium Bus Station, a new Stadium Rail Station and the Swan River Pedestrian Bridge.
