Project Detail |
The first phase of the NOOR Plan is the development of the NOOR Ouarzazate complex, of 570 MW, about 10 km north-east of Ouarzazate. The NOOR Ouarzazate solar complex is developed in several phases. The first phase of the project consists of the construction of a thermal solar power plant (CSP) with cylindrical-parabolic mirrors with a capacity of 160 MW (NOORo I) according to the model of independent energy production. Construction of the NOORo I plant started in 2013 and was commissioned in February 2016. The second phase of the Ouarzazate solar complex project consists of the construction of two separate CSP plants with storage capacity: NOORo II, with parabolic cylindrical mirrors with a power of 200 MW and NOORo III, with a power of 150 MW based on tower technology, allowing a technological diversification in the CSP. The NOORo I and NOORo III power plants benefit from 2 AFD loans of € 100 million and € 50 million respectively, and a grant of € 300,000. https://www.afd.fr/fr/le-plus-grand-complexe-solaire-thermodynamique-des-pays-du-sud-ouarzazate?origin=/fr/recherche?page=all&query=%2A&view=tile&filter%5B0%5D=type_k%3D%22page_afd_project%22&filter%5B1%5D=type_k%3D%22page_ong_project%22&filter%5B2%5D=type_k%3D%22page_research_project%22&filter%5B3%5D=source%3D%22afd%22&size=16&from=208&sort=_score%2Cdesc&facetOptions%5B0%5D=funding_program_k%2Csize%2C200&facetOptions%5B1%5D=funding_type_k%2Csize%2C200&facetOptions%5B2%5D=thematic_k%2Csize%2C200&facetOptions%5B3%5D=country_k%2Csize%2C200&facetOptions%5B4%5D=year_k%2Csize%2C200&facetOptions%5B5%5D=program_family_k%2Csize%2C200 |
