The project involves the implementation of an infrastructure rehabilitation program, including in particular the construction of a new terminal at TNR, the repair of runways and the renovation of other airport infrastructures.
The operation will contribute to (i) improving the reliability and security of the airport service, which will lead to increased passenger traffic; (ii) the creation and maintenance of more than 2,000 jobs; (iii) employee training and the transfer of new technologies; (iv) State tax revenue. As such, the project will contribute to SDGs 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure). |
