The PST will be located 50 kilometers from the Peruvian capital, in the district of Santa Maria del Mar. It aims to become a major player in socio-economic development at local, regional and national levels, as the first pole of transfer of knowledge and innovations. It aims to improve the productivity and competitiveness of key sectors of the economy in a context of sustainable development. To achieve its objectives, the park will have three types of activities: the transfer of knowledge and the promotion of R & D and innovation projects (laboratories and teaching and research units of the PUCP within the PST; events and training, collaboration between companies and research centers, etc.); providing support services for the creation and development of innovative companies through the creation of an incubator; real estate activity (sale / lease of buildings). As a revenue generator, it will support the operation of the park and part of its knowledge transfer and R & D activities |
