| Project Name | plan for Shifting of EHVT lines for the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport |
| Project Detail | EHV overhead transmission lines belonging to TPL and MSETCL are passing through airport area. To facilitate the construction of NMIA project, TPL and MSETCL will divert all overhead lines passing through proposed site. CIDCO would bear the expenditure for diversion and conversion of the overhead system to underground system (both materials & works costs) but only to the extent of existing capacity and also provide land for setting up the switching stations. The optimized route of the proposed underground cable would require laying of EHVT cable of 15 km for shifting MSETCL lines and 9.5 km for TPL lines |
