Project Objectives To generate electric power by taking advantage of existing water reservoirs and to reduce the importation of fossil fuel, which also would reduce emissions of co2 into the atmosphere. The project improve electric services to people and others facilities mainly In rural areas that will reduce immigration towards cities and develop agricultural production . The project contributes and strengthens the capacity of research and universities in the hydropower sector.
Project Description supply, construction and install of 34 small hydropower plants with all electromechanical equipment and auxiliaries. Supply ,construction and installation of linking substation ,75 km distribution lines ,10 km access road. procurement of construction , maintenance and operation equipment and vehicles. Supply of production and scientific equipment. Engineering services.
