The works by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (FS Group) relating to the launching of two metal girders crossing the Mortizza canal, between the municipality of Santo Stefano Lodigiano and the municipality of San Rocco al Porto along the conventional Milan-Bologna line, have been completed as scheduled. The aim of the intervention, which began on 22 May, was to upgrade the infrastructure through a complex intervention that led to the complete renovation of an iron bridge dating back to 1927. Around 60 technicians from RFI and contractors were involved in the construction sites, supported by numerous work vehicles. RFIs investment was around 7 million euros. |
