The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was honored with a special award during the 60th founding anniversary celebration of the Philippine Association of Government Budget Administration, Inc. (PAGBA), held on Monday, April 28, at the Manila Hotel. DPWH Undersecretary Marichu A. Palafox together with Chief Accountant Farha K. Karim accepted the award on behalf of Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan. The recognition was given in acknowledgment of DPWH’s strong partnership with PAGBA and for having sent the highest number of participants to PAGBA seminars over the past year. PAGBA President Zenaida Bolor-Chang presented the award, commending the DPWH’s unwavering support and active engagement in promoting efficient public fiscal administration and good governance. The recognition is a testament to DPWH continued commitment to enhancing the skills and capabilities of its personnel in budgeting and administration. It reflects proactive role in strengthening public service, in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ vision. |
