New Bus Terminal in Junín: a single bidder advances towards administration and commercial operation In a key step towards the launch of the new Junín Bus Terminal, the envelopes for Public Tender 5/2025 were opened, with the presentation of a single bidder: the Temporary Union formed by “Soluciones Químicas SA” and “Planet Partner Development SA”. The proposal must now go through administrative stages before being evaluated and approved by the Deliberative Council. The project, published in the Official Gazette on April 4, contemplates the provision of service and subsequent concession for the administration, operation, and commercial exploitation of the station, located at Route 7 and Circunvalación. The tender also includes the construction and use of commercial, recreational, and cultural facilities on the property and its surrounding areas. The offer establishes an initial investment of 380 million pesos through December 31, 2025. Starting in January 2026, the contractual scheme provides for increasing minimum module fees: two modules in 2026, five between 2027 and 2028, eight in 2029 and 2030, and twelve modules from 2031 until the end of the concession. This structure seeks to ensure the long-term maintenance, operation, and development of the complex. Following the opening ceremony, the Municipality emphasized that the process meets the formal requirements and stressed the importance of the project moving forward within the framework of a public bidding process, ensuring transparency. The process will now continue with the detailed technical evaluation, the opinion of the Legal and Technical Undersecretariat, and its subsequent submission to the City Council for consideration. The completion of this concession will finally allow bus services to be moved to the new terminal this year, marking a milestone for urban and regional transportation in Junín, as well as for the commercial development of the area. |
