| Work Detail |
The municipality of Florencio Varela, in conjunction with the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires, is moving forward with an ambitious urban infrastructure plan that includes road expansions, water improvements, and the enhancement of public spaces. These interventions aim to optimize traffic flow, reduce flooding risks, and improve the quality of life for residents. One of the most significant construction projects is located on Provincial Route 53, where a second roadway and a complementary collector road are being built. Currently, work includes the placement of selected soil between 1538th and 1542nd Streets, as well as concreting at the intersection with 1498th Street. This strategic project aims to ease traffic congestion on one of the main access roads to the district. In parallel, urban renewal works are underway in Villa Argentina, with the repaving of internal streets to improve neighborhood connectivity. Likewise, new storm drains are being built in Bosques Norte, which will improve runoff capacity and mitigate historical flooding problems in the area. The restoration of public spaces is also a central part of the project plan. Work is underway in plazas and recreational areas, incorporating street furniture, LED lighting, and childrens play areas, promoting safer and more accessible environments for the entire community. These projects, promoted by the local government, are part of a comprehensive infrastructure policy that seeks not only to modernize the urban infrastructure but also to strengthen the districts sustainable development, generating employment and improving living conditions in the neighborhoods. |
