Work Detail Within the framework of the Railway Emergency declared by the National Government, Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura awarded the first three projects out of a total of 21 tenders launched last year. These projects aim to improve operational safety and infrastructure at strategic stations on the Roca and Sarmiento lines. The first project awarded was for infrastructure improvements at the Morón station on the Sarmiento Line. The work includes the demolition and reconstruction of the platforms, which are in an advanced state of deterioration and have dangerous separation from the trains. This project was awarded to OCSA , which submitted the sole bid for $4,417,355,371.90 plus VAT . At Plaza Constitución station, progress will be made on completing the main roof over platforms 5, 6, 7, and 8. The work includes removing temporary enclosures, restoring the original structures of bay 2, and restoring their value. Two companies submitted bids for this project, and Centro Construcciones SA was awarded the contract with a base bid of $5,190,000,000 plus VAT . Finally, at the Kosteki & Santillán station on the Roca Line, platform 4 will be releveled and the track embankment retaining walls, both seriously deteriorated, will be structurally reinforced. In this case, four bidders competed, and the contract was awarded to Drayco SA , which submitted a bid of $190,437,347 plus VAT . These works were considered priority due to the operational risks identified and are part of an urgent intervention plan to strengthen the railway infrastructure and guarantee a safer and higher-quality service for users.
