Work Detail | It's running Android 6.0 on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, with a 2,560-by-1,600 screen, 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras, and 32GB of storage with a MicroSD card slot for expansion. Type and it illuminates the outline of a proper keyboard, with haptic feedback simulating the feel of the individual keys. Available later this month, the Yoga 910 will retail for £1,099 and the Yoga Book will come with a price tag of £449 for the Android Wi-Fi version and £549 for the Windows Wi-Fi version. As Lenovo started working on the Yoga Book three years ago, the hybrid ships with an Intel processor despite the company since moving away from the mobile market. Owners of the new two in one of supplied with a Book Pad, of paper cut to A5 size to fit on the Create Pad surface. The flush surface of the halo keyboard feature also allows for a few additional uses when paired with the Yoga Book's standard real-pen accessory, a dual-use stylus. Algorithms will help the device pick up user typing trends over time. Lenovo has more information below that explains the new technology. This image provided by Lenovo shows the company's Yoga Book, which doesn't have a physical keyboard. On the front of the IP52-rated splash-proof device are four "theater-caliber" JBL speakers, and internally there's a massive 9,300 mAh battery for up to 18 hours of use. Because the keyboard surface is very pressure-sensitive, it's able to create a virtual version of what you're writing even when you're writing on a sheet of paper sitting on top of the keyboard, or even on the back of the keyboard. More devices under the Yoga Book brand will follow, and the touch input panel will also go into an upcoming Chromebook, Jeff Meredith, Lenovo's vice president and general manager of the Android and Chrome Computing Business Group, said in an interview. The Halo keyboard is described by Lenovo as being the thinnest yet. The Yoga Book will appear in two flavours, a $US500 ($665) Android version and $US550 ($732) Windows 10 version. The Real Pen doesn't need batteries-it charges while attached to the Yoga Book-and you can replace its ink cartridges. Of course this will not work for those who have to type a lot. The Miix 510, meanwhile, is a midrange 2-in-1 laptop, with a detachable keyboard and a 12.2-inch, 1,920-by-1,200 screen. The Plus will arrive in October for $300, or $100 more than the basic Yoga Tab 3 but well below the $500 of the Pro. |
