Work Detail | ICL (NYSE: ICL) (TASE: ICL) ICL Advanced Additives business unit has been awarded a USD6.2 million contract from the US Air Force (USAF) to supply 418,000 gallons of ICL AA´s Phos-Chek firefighting foam for firefighting vehicles and fire station foam stocks, the company said. The USAF said it selected ICL AA´s Phos-Chek product based on its reduced environmental impact as well as ICL AA´s ability to meet stringent US military specifications and to provide favorable delivery and price terms. ICL provides fire protection product offerings with Phos-Chek and Auxquimia brand foams for the firefighting community. The USAF is replacing its legacy Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) stocks to minimize their impact on the environment. The company employs approximately 13,000 people worldwide, and its sales in 2015 totaled USD5.4 billion. |
