As part of the celebrations for Rosarios Tricentennial, the municipality opened the bidding process for the restoration and enhancement of Juramento Passage, a key intervention in an area of ??significant historical and symbolic value for the city. The project seeks to fully restore this pedestrian walkway that connects the Propylaeum of the National Flag Monument with Buenos Aires Street, crossing the heritage site comprised of the Cathedral and the Municipal Palace. The project includes a complete renovation of the floor, currently deteriorated by the passage of time and inclement weather. The marble will be replaced with new materials that respect the original aesthetic. Restoration of the Lola Mora sculptures and the Monument fountain is also planned, with special attention to the ornamental lighting, which will be renovated to enhance the civic and ceremonial character of the site. In addition, the project will include leak repairs and complementary tasks that will restore functionality and aesthetic value to this iconic corridor. The project is part of an agreement between the provincial government and the Municipality of Rosario and will be completed within an estimated six months. During the opening ceremony, held in the Flag Room, authorities highlighted the importance of preserving and revitalizing public spaces that represent the collective memory of Rosario residents. This intervention is part of a broader strategy to protect the urban landscape and strengthen the citys identity, the Ministry of Public Works stated. The award will be determined in the coming days, following a technical and administrative analysis of the proposals. The restoration of Juramento Passage is part of the more than 300 projects the municipality is promoting in various neighborhoods of Rosario as part of its tribute to the citys 300 years of history.
