Miahona, Saudi Arabia announces the receipt of award letter for Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant in Jeddah 1st Industrial City” from Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON”. This project scope includes the rehabilitation, development, construction, operation, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems which includes capital investment, land utilization, service provision, and revenue generation through treated water sales, all within the framework of a Rehabilitation, Operation, and Transfer (ROT) model. The total contract value for the following 25 years is estimated at c. 1 Billion SAR, subject to volume of consumption of water and wastewater services in the Industrial City The Project scope includes: Rehabilitating, upgrading, construct, operate, maintaining, and managing the project systems during the contract period. Invest in the necessary assets/resources for the project system in terms of capital expenditure (CAPEX) according to the Rehabilitation, Development, Construction, Operation, and Maintenance (ROT) model. Utilize the site and agreed-upon land based on the concession agreement. Ensure the continuity and reliability of providing public services related to wastewater and industrial water treatment. Treat raw wastewater and industrial effluent according to the Service Agreement (SA). Market and sell treated water for industrial purposes in accordance with the Service Agreement (SA). Provide maintenance for external networks and lift stations. Undertake all procedures related to any of the above-mentioned activities. Collect service fees. |
