EET Fuels, the trading arm of Essar Energy Transition (EET) Fuels, has signed agreements to supply jet fuel to two additional major UK airports, expanding its total network to nine airports across the country. Operating from the Stanlow Refinery in Ellesmere Port, EET Fuels is one of the UK’s leading jet fuel producers, supplying around 16% of the country’s road transport fuels and playing a vital role in the North West’s aviation sector. Deepak Maheshwari, CEO of EET Fuels, highlighted the significance of this expansion, stating, “By extending our supply footprint to nine key airports, we are not only enhancing fuel security and reliability for our airline partners but also reinforcing our role as a leader in the UK’s journey towards a low-carbon future.” This development builds upon existing supply agreements with Manchester, Birmingham, London Stansted, Newcastle, Liverpool, Cardiff, and Leeds airports, strengthening EET Fuels’ presence in the UK aviation fuel market. The expansion aligns with EET Fuels’ strategy to integrate across the value chain, ensuring that refined jet fuel produced at Stanlow Refinery reaches demand centers efficiently. It also supports EET’s broader ambitions to lead the UK’s energy transition.
