The opening of the envelopes containing the financial proposals for the structural rehabilitation of the Santa Fe sewer collector will take place next Wednesday, March 26th, at 9:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the headquarters of Aguas Santafesinas SA (ASSA), located at Ituzaingó 1501. Three groups submitted their technical bids in January and will now compete in this economic round. The bidding companies are: Reconstruction Pipes SA (Forever Pipe) Winkelmann SRL associated with Sanit Engenharia Ltda (Brazil) Mundo Construcciones together with SG Engineering in Ducts (Colombia) The planned investment for the project exceeds 22 billion pesos. The project will be executed using Manga Curada technology, a modern, non-destructive system that allows for the rehabilitation of pipelines without the need to open trenches, minimizing environmental impact and disruptions to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The general sewer collector, constructed of precast reinforced concrete and with an internal diameter of 1.7 meters, runs from east to west across the city. The project will extend from the Central Lift Station to the manhole located at the intersection of López y Planes and Cándido Pujato streets, benefiting the entire population of Santa Fe. The rehabilitation process will be carried out in sections, prioritizing the most critical areas. A system based on the interior reconstruction of the conduit with a fiberglass sleeve and polymer resins catalyzed by ultraviolet (UV) rays will be implemented, avoiding unnecessary openings and excavations. Each section will require preliminary work such as the installation of a sanitary sewer bypass over an approximate length of 6,760 meters, followed by a video inspection of the interior of the pipeline and cleaning of accumulated sediment. Subsequently, the internal lining will be completed with the installation of the cured sleeve over a total of 3,376 meters. This project, promoted by the provincial government through ASSA, represents a key modernization of the citys healthcare infrastructure, ensuring a more efficient and sustainable service for the residents of Santa Fe. |
