The Indore Smart City project has announced plans to fast-track the construction of eight key roads from the city’s master plan to enhance urban connectivity and infrastructure. The decision was taken during a meeting of the Indore Smart City Development Limited (ISCDL) Board of Directors on Tuesday, chaired by Collector Asheesh Singh, who emphasized the urgency of completing these roads for the city’s benefit. The identified road projects include the MR-5 Road from Indore Wire Factory to Bada Bangarda, along with the installation of a stormwater line from Indore Wire Factory to the Super Corridor. Other major developments include the master plan road from Palda Tiraha to Bypass via RE-2 ISBT, MR-9 Road (from Robot Square to Bypass and near Anoop Talkies), and a road connecting Chandan Nagar Square to Airport Road. Additionally, ISCDL will undertake the construction of MR-3 Road (from Pipliyapala Regional Park to Bypass), the remaining portion of RE-2, and MR-6 Road (from Ring Road to Mhow Naka Road). These projects aim to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance infrastructure across Indore. |
