The construction process started for the Conchucos Longitudinal Highway in Ancash after the signing of an agreement to prepare for pre-investment and final studies. The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) will be in charge of the project, with a view to executing it under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Through this tripartite agreement, PROINVERSIÓN will conduct the studies under the direction of PROVÍAS NACIONAL, while the Ancash Regional Government will provide full financing through the transfer of the corresponding resources. The Conchucos Longitudinal Highway is a 226-km road project that will connect the provinces of Sihuas, San Luis, and Huari, located in Ancash. PE-14B (Huari) route. The goal is for the new road to be awarded through a PPP, with a specialized operator responsible for its construction, operation, and maintenance. |
