The Santa Fe government has put out to tender the renovation of the Rosa Galisteo de Rodríguez Provincial Museum of Fine Arts, located in the capital city. The project, which will require an investment of over 1.5 billion pesos, seeks to improve the infrastructure and guarantee the preservation of the artistic heritage. Six companies submitted bids to carry out the work, which includes the structural renovation and modernization of the facilities. The project includes repairing settlement problems on the façade and in a section of the staircase using micropiling. In addition, the entire facility will be renovated, including storm drains, new subfloors, floors, and subfloors. As part of the accessibility improvements, a pneumatic lift will be installed to facilitate access to the classroom, where a new stage will also be built. The planned work also includes replacing the ground-floor restrooms, restoring interior spaces, painting the building, and improving outdoor spaces such as sidewalks and access points. All of these interventions will be carried out with special care to preserve the buildings aesthetic and architectural features and safeguard the artwork on display. The official budget allocated for the project is $1,504,159,725.79 (values ??as of November 2024), and the estimated completion period is ten months.
